  About 6 months after installation, we started having some problems on the cabinets beneath the 2 sinks & by the garbage can drawer. We also had a buckled area by our refrigerator, but I believe it was just a defective wood panel.Because they are higher traffic areas, they started to swell & the paint wore off. Because our cabinets are white, the areas are quite visible. After months of trying to contact Blake, I had to involve another employer to start getting a response regarding our issues. They came out & replaced the refrigerator panel & did not really address the cabinet doors swelling. One problem I tried to point out is that the cabinet doors stick out beyond the upper drawer panel, so the water sits on top of the door then eventually swells. Fast forward 2 years later, the areas have become drastically worse & are on other cabinet doors as well. I do understand normal wear & tear, but this is beyond that. It should not be happening to this extent, as we are just 2 adults living here with minimal wear. Because of my past issues in trying to contact Blake, I had my husband try to make contact. Blake responded that he will come by when he is next in the area. That was about 5 weeks ago. Last week, my husband tried again & no response yet. When we purchased hand made cabinets, I was skeptical because I know the finish is not as good as store bought cabinets, but I was assured that if we had any issues that it would be addressed. I was also told that we have a warranty for such things. I am very disappointed in the customer service that we have received. I do love the aesthetic of my new kitchen, but the major flaws have it already looking dingy. We want these issues addressed & don't feel that it is asking to much to expect more. As a last resort, I have decided to put our experiences out here so that anyone else interested in their services can beware. All we want is for our cabinet issues to be addressed & in a timely manner.
